Dashboard

The Analyzer Dashboard is a collection of navigation elements and portals of information known as “Portlets.” Information in the various Portlets is real time and deals with system, network, and monitor activity.

Active Flows

The Active Flows panel allows you to see, by Group and at a glance, all of the traffic seen by the Analyzer in real-time. As the Analyzer sees the network packets on a monitored network segment, it “classifies” each packet according to what protocols are being used, associates it with an active network flow and tracks vital performance metrics.

Packet Capture

Multi-session packet capture allows for up to four simultaneous capture sessions with continuous stream-to-disk. Full filtering capability both pre and post capture.

Reporting

The reporting functionality within the NEXVU system provides a window into all of the data collected and stored. With over 60 pre-defined reports out of the box covering information such as Health, Utilization, and Performance of the groups you define, you can run History, Summary, as well as Top-N reports for all of the information gathered by the Analyzer. Reports may be customised and scheduled.

Monitoring

Create rules based monitors with thresholds set to absolute values of your choosing or define the percentage of deviation from continuous baseline measurements. Health, Utilization and Perfromance monitors can be created for any static group you define.

Performance Monitoring

Data may be broken out from the monitors to be saved to the database and exported as SmartGroups™. The SmartGroups™ may be viewed either in real time or from a historical perspective with the Top-N Explorer.
